With a general slowdown in homebuilding, remodeling contractors have experienced an increase in homeowners choosing to refocus on improving their current homes. This kitchen tour offers inspiring ideas for real-life projects. These homes feature some of the areas finest architects, kitchen designers and builders. Tour goers will have the opportunity to see products and materials used in a real environment. This tour will offer attendees the opportunity to ask questions from chefs, architects, builders and designers.
New for 2011, the Wayne Art Center will be a featured stop on the tour, with floral arranging demonstrations ongoing throughout the day. Additionally, at three scheduled times (11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.) tour-goers may enjoy cooking demonstrations, graciously hosted by the Wayne Art Center in their beautifully updated facilities. Light breakfast fare will be served the morning of the tour at The Paoli Design Center, one of designated locations for picking up tickets on November 3. A sponsor party will be held at Tiffany & Co. at The Court at King of Prussia on Thursday evening, October 20, 2011, with catering by Meridiths Catering.
