Figure in the Interior

This class will open the artist to using the human figure and elements of the interior to create inventive compositions. We will include the use of the nude as well as the clothed figure posed with varied props and supportive material. Individual expression will be encouraged. Students may use any drawing or painting material.


Painting in the Garden

Join Bonnie for this four-week painting intensive! Students will meet an outdoor location near the Wayne Art Center. There will be demonstrations as well as group and individual critiques. Please bring your usual painting materials, in addition to a portable easel. Students will receive directions to the painting sites at the time of registration.


Basic Drawing & Painting

This class focuses on the basic perceptual, analytical and physical skills needed to communicate through drawing and painting. We will review the basic foundations of drawing while also addressing the issues of experimentation and expressiveness. We will explore painting through a direct and spontaneous approach, working from life on a new painting each class. Characteristics of the medium and process will be discussed and paint handling and color sense will be emphasized. Group and individual critiques included. A great class for beginners!
