Teen Programs
Education
The Wayne Art Center offers classes and programs for teens 13 & up are offered each session as a part of the children's educational programming schedule. These classes allow teens to enroll in focused art classes in specific media in small classes of their peers. Teens 16 & up are invited to enroll in beginner level adult classes. This gives older teens an opportunity to participate in intensive and focused arts instruction that will aid in portfolio development.

Volunteering
The Wayne Art Center is pleased to offer a dynamic teen volunteer program for mature teens 13 years and older. Our teen volunteers help both instructors, in the classroom and the office staff 'behind the scenes' performing vital administrative tasks. Teen volunteers are needed throughout the year, for special programs on the weekends, exhibits, and as part of our Summer Art Camp Program.
All volunteer positions for Summer 2011 have been filled. Thank you for your interest. Please check back in Spring 2012.
