16th Annual Strictly Functional Pottery National
May 27 – June 27, 2008
Juror: Linda Arbuckle
The Strictly Functional Pottery National is a juried exhibition of some of the finest examples of functional pottery currently produced in the United States. Each year, the national call for entries attracts work from America's most prominent and established potters, as well as from emerging artists. The art of working in clay to make pieces that can be in daily use is represented through the varied use of clay types, forms, methods of making the work, glazing and surface decoration, and firing techniques. The opportunity to exhibit pottery in this show is highly competitive and determined by an expert juror.
