Adult Volunteers
The Wayne Art Center is honored to have a dedicated and growing team of volunteers who perform many important functions. Volunteers are needed to help with many daily tasks such as reception desk, data entry, the gallery shop, special events and educational programs. If you would like to contribute your time, enthusiasm and skills to the Wayne Art Center, please email our adult volunteer coordinator.
Teen Volunteer Program
The Wayne Art Center also accepts and appreciates help from our younger community members!
Dedicated and mature teens ages 13 & older are invited to submit application forms to be added
to our roster of Teen Volunteers for 2012/2013. During the school year we accept teen assistance
for special events, Saturday workshops & family programs, and as Birthday Party aides, as well as
after school in our ceramic department.

Summer Art Camp Volunteers
Each summer we also rely on the support of a full team of teen volunteers as a part of our popular Summer Art Camp program. Camp volunteers assist our instructors in the classroom, setting up supplies, working with students to complete projects, clean-up, and monitoring potty-breaks for the little ones. Our Summer Art Camp program is organized into 12 one-week sessions, and volunteers are asked to commit to a full-week at a time either mornings (9:30am-12:00pm), afternoons (12:30-3:00pm), late afternoons (3:15-5:15pm), or full-days (either 9:30am-3:00pm or 9:30am-5:15pm).
Volunteer Schedules for Summer 2013 have been mailed to those who applied prior to the MAY 1ST cut-off date. Volunteer slots are still available August 12-16 & August 19-23. Remaining slots will be assigned on a first come, first served basis
