Edmond Praybe is a painter living in Arnold, MD. He received his BFA from MICA and his MFA from the New York Studio School. Edmond received a Hohenberg Travel Grant and was an Artist-In-Residence at Catoctin Mountain Park. He won the Purchase Prize from UNC Asheville’s Annual Drawing Discourse in 2021, won 2nd place in Wayne Plein Air 2022 and 1st place in 2024. Edmond has taught and lectured at Anne Arundel Community College, New York Studio School, Wayne Art Center, Washington Studio School, Penn Studio School, the Art Digger Lab, Winslow Art Center and Pennsylvania College of Art and Design. Edmond is a member of Zeuxis: An Association of Still Life Painters. His work has been shown widely in juried and invitational exhibitions and he is represented by Peterson Contemporary, Steven Francis Fine Art and Tregony Contemporary. Edmond has also shown with Principle Gallery, Galerie Mokum and First Street Gallery.
