Welcome to The Music School at Wayne Art Center! Guided by Wayne Art Center’s mission to foster a sense of community for arts education and appreciation, The Music School at Wayne Art Center welcomes children of all ages whether they are interested in advancing their musical education or exploring an instrument for the first time.
We work with parents to carefully match students with the best-fit faculty member, who will design a program of music study tailored to each child’s needs. Because The Music Center at Wayne Art Center offers a larger music faculty than any other music school in the area, we can assure parents that their child is placed with the perfect teacher. We encourage all parents to schedule a complimentary first lesson so that families can feel comfortable with the student-teacher relationship.
The Music School at Wayne Art Center provides individual lessons in piano, violin, viola, cello, double bass, guitar, flute, oboe, and voice students begin to learn to read music from the very first lesson.

Our teachers are also performers; they continue to work with the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, the Pennsylvania Ballet, the Philly Pops, and additional prominent classical music groups.
Current yearly Wayne Art Center membership is required to enroll in music lessons. Our membership year runs from September 1st – August 31st. Memberships must be purchased at the front desk prior to the first lesson. Memberships purchased after the fall session are prorated.
